This is about as far as I was prepared to strip this shutter down. The mechanism is mostly visible for easy cleaning. In this picture the shutter is still attached to the camera - but I would recommend removing the rear lens element and locking nut (see Synchro-Compur Page 5 for further details) - and giving the shutter a thorough flood wash with lighter fluid.

Once you are happy with the performance of the shutter - reassemble in reverse order to disassembly. This is a good opportunity to clean the lens elements too.
