By now - things are really begining to take shape! The radiator grill has been mounted and all the edges sanded/dremeled to size. You can also see the nails used to reinforce the glue joints.
Now for the painting - I gave myself a week - and I could have done with an extra couple of days. The paints are all from Hobbies. The logo was done on the inkjet printer before pasted onto hardboard. The hardboard was then varnished with a spirit based varnish to stop the ink running. After a couple coats of this - the hardboard was stuck to the pre-painted body side (I’d left the wood bare at this place) and the whole model varnished a couple of times over with water based varnish.
