As lubrication on the thread of the knob I used a white grease containing Teflon(PTFE).

For the swivel arm and the pivot I used “Never-Seez”  because there is no real movement of these parts and the product prevents it from sticking. Grease will also do the job.

Here is the swivel arm after lubrication.

Clean the lenses in the rangefinder. But be very careful with the mirror, I only gave it a extremely soft stroke with a dry Q-tip. Mount everything in reverse order, except from the protection plate and the limit screw in the outer ring of the knob.

Now adjust the rangefinder. When this is done, mount the protection plate and the limit screw and close the camera by mounting the top plate.
